God's Will for Salvation

1. If there were no ignorance in the world, if no blood were shed, if there were no pain and misery, there would be no reason for My Spirit to materialize by making itself perceptible to your senses. But you need Me. I know that only My love can save you in these times, and that is why I have come.

2. If I did not love you—what would it matter if you were to destroy yourselves, and what would your pain mean? Yet I am your Father—a Father who feels the pain of the child within Himself, for every child is a small part of Him. That is why, in every one of My words and in every inspiration, I give you the light of truth, which means life for the spirit. (178, 79-80)

3. Here I am among you, knocking at your hearts. Do you think that My peace is complete when I see you entangled in constant hostilities? That is why I have come as the Great Warrior to fight against darkness and evil, and with Me have also come the spirits of good, the Spiritual World, to complete My work. How long will this battle last? Until all My children are saved. But I have not brought pain with Me; I only wish to transform you through love. (268, 31)

4. My Word will again be uncomfortable for people, as in times past, yet I will speak the truth to them. Without exposing anyone, I called the hypocrite a hypocrite, the adulterer an adulterer, and the villain evil. The truth had been distorted, and it was necessary for it to shine forth again, just as now, when the truth has been concealed, and therefore it must once more come to light before the eyes of people. (142, 31)

5. Not once, but many times and in various ways, I announced and promised my disciples my return. I announced to you the signs that would herald My coming—signs in nature, events among humanity, worldwide wars, sin at its peak. So that the world might not fall into error and expect Me to come again as a human being, I let them know that Christ would come "on the cloud," that is, in the Spirit.

6. That promise has been fulfilled. Here is the Master in the Spirit, speaking to the world. Here is the Lord of Peace and of the Kingdom of Light, who is building an immeasurably great ark in which people may find refuge and be saved, just as in the "First Era" when Noah built the ark to save the human seed. (122, 52–53)

7. The manner in which I have revealed Myself in this time is different from that of the "Second Era," yet My purpose is the same: to save humanity, to remove it from that whirlwind it has encountered on its path and from which it has been unable to escape.

8. Temptation has been unleashed in all its power, and man has fallen like a small child and has experienced great suffering. He empties his cup of suffering and calls out to Me in his deep confusion, and the Father has been with him.

9. There is still bitterness left in the cup, but I will help you endure the pain that is the consequence of your disobedience. Blessed are you who hear Me, for you will be strong! But what will become of the others when that great suffering befalls them? Will their souls collapse for lack of faith? The prayer of Israel* must give them support. (337, 38)

* This name refers to the new people of God, "Spiritual Israel," not to the inhabitants of the State of Israel or the Jewish people as a whole (for more details, see Chapter 39)

10. I seek you with infinite love. I have placed so much grace and so many gifts in your soul that I am not willing to lose even a single one of My children. You are part of My Spirit, you are a part of My Being—can He who seeks you with such zeal and such love be evil?

11. Whenever I come down to give you My Word, I find "the last ones" among the multitudes; they are those who ask Me most earnestly in their hearts. Yet I am pleased to answer them and always respond to their questions.

12. Today, those who have come last ask Me what the purpose of My return is, to which I reply that the purpose is to enable people to return to their original purity through their own efforts. (287, 19-20)

The Elimination of Errors and Externalized Forms of Worship

13. The "Third Era" has fully dawned for humanity. About 2,000 years have passed since I gave you My Word; yet, despite the time that has elapsed, that teaching has not yet been recognized by all of humanity, because I am not loved by all My children. Nevertheless, all show Me reverence; all seek a single Divine Spirit, which is Mine. Yet I see no unity among people; I do not see among them the same faith, the same elevation, and the same understanding. Therefore, I come as the Holy Spirit to unite them in Me, to perfect them with My teaching of truth, with My unchanging Word, and with My law of love and justice. (316, 4)

14. The clouding of the mind, the lack of faith, and ignorance of the truth are darkness for the soul, and that is why humanity today is on a wrong path. How numerous have become those people who go through life without knowing or wanting to know where they are going!

15. I knew that such a time would come for humanity, full of pain, confusion, uncertainty, and mistrust. I promised to save you from this darkness, and here I am: I am the Spirit of Truth. Why do you want Me to come again as a human being? Do you not remember that I died as a human being and told you that I would await you in My Kingdom? By doing so, I made you understand that the soul is eternal, immortal. (99, 7-8)

16. My Word in this time reminds you of the past, reveals the mysteries to you, and announces what is to come. It will set right everything that people have distorted and invalidated; for I, as the Guardian of the Truth, come with the sword of My zeal and My justice to tear down all that is false, to shatter hypocrisy and lies, to once again drive the merchants out of the Temple of Truth.

17. Understand that you need not seek the truth in books, advice, or the commandments of men to attain the salvation of your souls.

18. You all need to be saved; I find not a single one who already stands on solid ground. You are shipwrecked in the midst of a stormy night, in which everyone struggles for their own life without thinking of their neighbor, because their life is in danger.

19. But truly, I tell you, I am your only Savior, coming once more in search of those who have gone astray because they have strayed from the navigational route, which is the Law. I illuminate your path so that you may reach land, that blessed land that awaits you, for it holds infinite treasures for the spirit in its bosom. (252, 37–40)

20. Just as the divine instructions were once misinterpreted, so too has My teaching been distorted in this age; and thus it became necessary for the Master to come again to help you free yourselves from your errors, since very few manage to free themselves from their straying on their own.

21. Although I promised you even then that I would come again, I must also tell you that I did so because I knew a time would come when humanity, convinced that it was walking the path of My teachings, would be very far from them; and this is the time for which I announced My return. (264, 35-36)

22. In the "Second Era," Christ—the very One who speaks to you at this moment—became human and dwelt on earth. But now He is with you in spirit, thus fulfilling a promise He made to humanity: the promise to return in a new era to bring you the highest comfort and the light of truth, thereby illuminating and explaining everything that has been revealed to humankind. (91, 33)

23. Humanity is disoriented, yet I have come to guide it through the light of the Holy Spirit, so that it may recognize the true meaning of My Word.

24. Over time, the writings left by My disciples have been altered by people, and that is why there is discord among the denominations. Yet I will explain all My teachings to unite humanity in a single light and a single will. (361, 28-29)

25. Today a new era dawns for the world, in which humanity will strive for greater freedom of thought, in which it will fight to break the chains of bondage that its spirit has borne. It is the time when you will see the peoples, in their longing for spiritual nourishment and true light, transcend the barriers of fanaticism, and I tell you that no one who experiences, even for a moment, the joy of feeling free to think, to seek, and to act, will ever voluntarily return to his prison. For now his eyes have beheld the light, and his spirit was enraptured by the Divine Revelations. (287, 51)

26. I knew that from generation to generation, people would increasingly mystify My teaching, alter My law, and distort the truth. I knew that people would forget My promise to return and that they would no longer regard one another as brothers, but would kill one another with the cruelest, most cowardly, and most inhuman weapons.

27. But now the time and the promised day have come, and here I am. Do not judge the manner I have chosen to reveal Myself to you; for it is not the world that is to judge Me, but I am the One who judges humanity, for now is the time of its judgment.

28. I am establishing a kingdom in the hearts of men—not an earthly kingdom, as many expect, but a spiritual one—whose power springs from love and justice, and not from the powers of the world.

29. I see that some are astonished to hear Me speak thus; yet I ask you: Why do you always want to imagine Me clothed in silk, gold, and precious stones? Why do you always want My Kingdom to be of this world, when I have revealed the opposite to you? (279, 61–64)

30. I have already foretold you that the struggle will be fierce, for everyone considers their religion to be perfect and their way of practicing it to be blameless. Yet I tell you that if that were the case, I would have had no reason to come at this time and speak to you.

31. Through inspiration, I give you a profoundly spiritual teaching, for I see that paganism reigns in your forms of worship and that the evil seed of fanaticism has poisoned you with ignorance and feelings of hatred.

32. My sword of light is in my right hand; I am the Warrior and King who destroys all that is rebellious, all existing evil, and all that is false. When my battle is over and hearts have learned to unite in prayer and life, the gaze of your spirit will discover Me in infinite light and eternal peace. "This is My Kingdom," I will say to you, "and I am your King, for that is why I am here, and that is why I created you: to reign." (279, 72–74)

Enlightenment on True Life

33. All people know that I am the Father of all creation and that the destiny of beings lies in Me. Yet I have received neither their attention nor their respect. They, too, create, are also masters, and believe they have power over the fate of their neighbors—so why should they bow before Me?

34. In this way, man has tested My patience and challenged My justice. I have given him time to find the truth, but he has refused to accept anything from Me. I came as a Father and was not loved; then I came as a Master and was not understood; yet since it is necessary to save humanity, I now come as a Judge. I know that man will rebel against My justice, for he will not understand Me even as a Judge and will say that God has taken vengeance.

35. I wish everyone would understand that God cannot harbor feelings of vengeance, for His love is perfect. Nor can He send pain; it is you yourselves who attract it through your sins. My divine justice stands above your suffering and even your death. Pain, obstacles, and failures are the trials that man constantly imposes upon himself , and the fruits of his sowing are what he gradually reaps. It is enough for Me to let My light reach your spirit during each of these life crises so that it may attain its salvation. (90, 5-7)

36. It is the Spirit of Truth that descends to elucidate mysteries and reveal to you the knowledge necessary for you to rejoice in true life. He is the divine consolation that pours out upon your sufferings to bear witness to you that divine judgment is neither punishment nor vengeance, but a judgment of love to lead you to light, peace, and bliss. (107, 24)

37. Know that he who understands and recognizes something of that which is reserved for those who ascend can no longer tear his spirit away from the light that has been revealed to him. Whether he enters unknown worlds or returns to Earth time and again: what he once received as a divine spark of light will continually rise from the purest part of his being as an intuition, as a divine inspiration. At times it will arise like a sweet awakening or like a heavenly song that will flood the heart with delight, like a longing to return to the Spiritual Homeland. This is what My teaching means for the souls who return to this life. On the surface, the spirit seems to forget its past, but in truth it does not lose the knowledge of My instruction.

38. To those who doubt that it is the Divine Word speaking to them at this moment and in this form, I say that if they do not wish to give Me that name, if they do not wish to attribute this Word to the Divine Master, they should take the meaning of this teaching to heart, delve into the depths of each of its thoughts; and if, upon reflecting on what they have heard, they come to the conclusion that it contains light and truth for humanity, they should use it as a guide for their steps on earth and thereby transform their lives.

39. I know that I am imparting true wisdom to you; what people believe does not alter My truth in the slightest. Yet it is necessary for man to have certainty regarding what he believes, what he knows, and what he loves. For this reason alone do I at times place Myself on the level of humanity in My revelations, so that they may come to know Me. (143, 54–56)

40. The conception people have of Me is very limited, their understanding of the spiritual very meager, their faith very small.

41. The religions slumber in a centuries-long dream, without taking a single step forward, and when they awaken, they are active only within themselves and do not dare to break out of the circle they have created for themselves through their traditions.

42. It will be the despised, the poor, the simple, and the uneducated who, in their longing for light, for a pure spiritual environment, for truth and progress, will leave that circle. They are the ones who will sound the bell and the wake-up call when they sense the coming of the time of My new revelations in the age of spiritualization.

43. People wish to discover the mystery of spiritual life—that existence into which they must irrevocably enter and which, for that very reason, they are interested in knowing.

44. People ask, beg, and plead for light out of mercy, because they feel the need to prepare; yet in response to everything, they are told that spiritual life is a mystery and that the desire to lift the veil covering it is presumption and blasphemy.

45. Truly, I tell you, those who thirst for truth and light will not find the spring whose water quenches their thirst in this world. It will be I who send down from heaven that water of wisdom which souls long to drink. I will pour out My fountain of truth upon every spirit and every mind, so that the "mysteries" may be dispelled. For I tell you once again that it is not I who shroud Myself in mysteries for the sake of humanity, but it is you who create them.

46. True, there will always be something in your Father that you will never comprehend, considering that God is infinite and that you are but tiny particles. But that you should not know who you are in eternity, that you should be an impenetrable mystery to yourselves, and that you must wait until you enter spiritual life to come to know it—this is not prescribed by Me.

47. It is true that in times past you were not spoken to in this way, nor was there a widespread call to penetrate the light of spiritual knowledge; but this was only because humanity in the past did not feel the urgent need to know that it feels today, nor was it spiritually and intellectually capable of understanding. Even though it always sought and probed, this was done more out of curiosity than out of a genuine desire for light.

48. In order for people to find the path that leads them to that light, and so that they may be able to receive that water from the fountain of life and wisdom, they must first renounce all outward forms of worship and rid their hearts of all fanaticism. When they then begin to feel the presence of the living and almighty God in their hearts, they will feel a new, unknown devotion rising from the innermost depths of their being, full of feeling and sincerity, full of exaltation and warmth, which will be the true prayer, revealed by the Spirit.

49. This will be the beginning of their ascent toward the Light, the first step on the path to spiritualization. When the Spirit can reveal true prayer to humanity, He will also be able to reveal to them all the abilities they possess, as well as the way to develop them and direct them onto the path of love. (315, 66 75)

50. You may find in My revelation the same teachings as those of the "Second Era"; but in this era I have revealed to you the unfathomable through the light of My Holy Spirit, and in the dialogue from Spirit to Spirit I will continue to reveal to you new and very great teachings. I will make known to you the entire content of the Sixth Seal in this era of revelation, which will prepare you for the time when I will break the Seventh Seal. Thus you will come to recognize the "unfathomable" more and more; thus you will discover that the Spiritual World is the home of all souls, the infinite and wondrous Father's House that awaits you in the high beyond, where you will receive the reward for the works you have done with love and mercy toward your fellow human beings. (316, 16)

The Development, Spiritualization, and Redemption of Man

51. I give you My instruction not merely as a moral restraint upon your material nature; rather, with it you may ascend to the greater heights of your spiritual perfection.

52. I am not founding a new religion among you; this teaching does not deny existing religions, provided they are founded on My truth. This is a message of divine love for all, a call to all social institutions. Whoever understands the Divine Purpose and fulfills My commandments will feel led toward the progress and higher development of his soul.

53. As long as humanity does not comprehend the spiritualization it must have in its life, peace will be far from becoming a reality in the world. Whoever, on the other hand, fulfills My Law of Love will fear neither death nor the judgment that awaits his soul. (23, 12-13)

54. With these revelations, I do not merely wish to bring you world peace and alleviate your suffering through physical relief. Through this message, I give you the great teachings that speak to you of your spiritual development. For if I had only wanted to bring you the goods of the world—truly, I tell you, it would have been enough to commission the scientists whom I enlighten through intuition and to whom I have revealed the secrets of nature, so that they might take from it the healing balm to cure you of your physical sufferings.

55. My work seeks to show you broader horizons, beyond your planet, with that infinite number of worlds that surround you—horizons that have no end, that point you toward the eternity that belongs to you. (311, 13-14)

56. My spiritual teaching has various goals or tasks: one is to comfort the soul in its exile and to make it understand that the God who created it awaits it eternally in His kingdom of peace. Another is to let it know how many gifts and abilities it possesses to achieve its salvation and its elevation or perfection.

57. This Word brings the message of spiritualization, which opens people's eyes so that they may see reality face to face—a reality they believe they can find only in what they see, in what they touch, or in what they prove through their human science, without realizing that in doing so they call the transitory "reality" and fail to recognize and deny the Eternal, where true reality exists.

58. Let this message go from nation to nation, from house to house, leaving behind its seed of light, comfort, and peace, so that people may pause for a few moments and grant their spirit a respite, which is essential for it to reflect and remember that every moment may be the one of its return to the Spiritual World, and that the fruit it reaps upon its arrival in Spiritual Life depends on its works and the seed it sows in the world. (322, 44–46).
