What does Christ say about the purchase of books?

We must not sell the Divine Instructions or use them to make a profit; rather, we should first study them, then live by them ourselves, and finally share them in their purity with all people.

All PDF files on these pages may be downloaded free of charge for personal use, to study the writings or to share them with friends.

The content is protected according to Section 2 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG) and may only be modified after consulting the copyright holder.

The books may only be purchased for personal use—to study them, to undergo spiritualization, and thereby to attain peace of heart and peace among one another. The books may also be given as gifts to people who wish to study them and live by them.

Words of Jesus Christ on the Subject of Books:

Vol. 1–I. 25:51. I come to you because your brothers, who possess knowledge, have concealed the truth from humanity and filled their hearts with selfishness. I do not sell you my love, nor my Word, nor my blessings. I am only waiting for you to be prepared so that I may send you out to the provinces and villages to bring the Good News of my teaching to your brothers; for throughout the world there are people who await my coming. I want you to be strong enough by 1950—the time when I will cease to communicate in this form—to begin the struggle.

Vol. 1 – I. 28:24… "And you? What are you doing here?" he asked the one who had remained in the oasis. — The man remained silent, ashamed. Then the good traveler said to him: "I know that you have taken this oasis for yourself, that you sell its water and charge money for the shade. These blessings do not belong to you; they were placed in the desert by a divine force so that whoever needed them might make use of them.

Vol. 2 – I. 41:38. How many of those who found peace here without realizing it will need to lose it (again) so that they may return to Me; for they will come to realize that peace cannot be bought with material goods, since it is a treasure that comes down from God.

Vol. 2 - I. 41:40. Be aware that with all the treasures and forces of mankind, not even a single atom of peace can be acquired, and that even the gift of healing has departed from the doctors, who, with all their science, will not be able to buy a single drop of My balm as long as their hearts do not free themselves from self-interest.

Vol. 2 – I. 43:48. It is My Spirit who has sent them (the called ones) to the various provinces to deliver a message of spiritualization. Why do some turn away from the principles of spiritualization that I have shown them—namely, to give love and practice mercy without any self-interest—and sell the services they perform through gifts that cost them nothing? Do you not remember that from the very first instructions you heard, I told you to watch and pray, because temptation lies in wait for your steps? Reflect according to what I told you, and you will recall that I also told you that I have more to give you than you have to ask of Me—so that you should limit yourselves to receiving from Me only what is permissible.

Vol. 3 – I. 56 : 40. Those whose mission is to establish justice on earth, and who are used as instruments of My divinity, will rebuke all those whom they catch in falsehood—everyone who turns My Instruction into a business and who hides his wickedness behind a mask of holiness.

Vol. 4 – I. 101 : 14. Learn all this, and you will be recognized as My disciples on your path. Some, upon recognizing your gift of healing, will wish to buy your secret—some with good intentions, others out of greed. But you shall tell them that the secret to helping fellow human beings who are suffering is love for one's neighbor, and that everyone possesses this ability.

Vol. 5 – I. 128 : 44. Use the light of My Word and free yourselves through it, for you have long been preoccupied solely with earthly things and have become guardians of earthly possessions, without considering that the soul is destined to return to its ancient home, and that you must prepare the provisions and the staff that will aid it on its journey.

Vol. 5 – I. 127 : 21. Many say to Me in their hearts: "Master, do You perhaps foresee that we will be unfaithful to You? How could that be possible?" Yet I answer you the same thing I told My apostles in the Second Era: "Watch and pray, lest you fall into temptation"; for you all know that among them there was one who would betray and sell Me, and you do not know who is doing so at this time, even though he calls himself My disciple.

Vol. 5 – I. 140 : 34. Whoever attains this bliss bears the glory of his Father within himself. Only through the path of love will you reach your true homeland—that Kingdom which no one can attain in any other way, which you cannot buy at any price, unless it is won with the heart.

Vol. 6 – I. 163 : 27.-30. And yet, how often have these revelations been exploited, and how they have been desecrated! That is why My work has been opposed in this age and will continue to be opposed. Yet those who truly believe in it will continue to study and follow it, so that tomorrow they may explain My Instructions and lead those who are confused away from their error, as well as those who profane My teaching.

28. In this age, I wished to set forth all these revelations in detail and bring their explanation to a close, and to this end I sent Elijah to enlighten your minds and prepare the way for you, so that you might not be thrown into confusion by My coming and that of My spiritual hosts.

29. Elijah, as a spiritual being, knocked on the doors of the Chosen One of this time, who, without knowing or being aware of anything about the present revelation, found himself troubled, subdued, and overcome in the face of the spiritual force that was knocking at his heart to prompt him to devote himself to this service. This was the first seed, tended by the first believers, which bore the first blossoms and the first fruits.

30. The plant grew and became a young sapling; its blossoms were the rallies of the beings of light who came to this people as messengers, prophets, guardian angels, and counselors. The fruits were the rallies of your Master through His divine ray, which brought you the sweet taste of life.

Vol. 6 – I. 168 : 4. Study and understand my Instruction so that you may put it into practice without distortion; then no one will confuse you with false teachings taken from the spiritual realm to create sciences, doctrines, and philosophies. You will be among educated people, questioned and put to the test, yet you will not lose heart, for you feel that My caring love stands by you. Understand that you must carefully guard the jewel that I have placed within your Spirit and must not mix it with useless knowledge, nor sell it for material gain.

Vol. 7 – I. 188 : 43. My work is different; only when I deemed you sufficiently capable and aware to receive these Instructions did I bring you this great Instruction—one of the greatest I have given to this world—so that you might learn to see, to ask, to understand, and to discover through the Spirit. Yet when I opened this horizon to you, I taught you a law that forbids you from boasting about these gifts, using them for business, or abusing them.

Vol. 7 – I. 205 : 68. My light will shine within each of My children who is preparing for the time of direct dialogue with the Master. But it will not shine in those who sell My work and become peddlers. Prepare yourselves so that, when My Word comes to an end in the year 1950, you will have understood the way to proceed along the path. For—listen carefully!—all those who have not prepared themselves sufficiently will fall into confusion.

Vol. 8 – I. 218: 30. People from the churches and sects will come to observe you. They will put your authority to the test. Some, convinced by your gifts, will tempt you with money in order to use you for material purposes. Do not forget that all those who turn my work into a business will lose my grace.

Vol. 8 – I. 229 : 48. People will have to deal with you. They will be men of the judiciary and the law, theologians and theosophers, and scientists. They will come with various intentions, but they will scrutinize you and put you to the test. Do not conceal your lives and your works by showing them only My Law. Do not cover your imperfections with the perfection of My Word as recorded in your books.

Vol. 8 – I. 239 : 14. Awake, O people; understand Me. Devote yourselves to My Instruction and to your spirit soul.

Vol. 8 – I. 219 : 46. Peter embodies the one who fears the judgments of men, and Judas those who sell the treasures of the soul.

Vol. 10 – I. 278 : 12. When these messengers set out for the lands that await them, all religious fanaticism must already have been eradicated from their hearts; not even the slightest desire for flattery or admiration may remain, nor shall their hand dare to defile itself with the world's money for the work of love they are accomplishing. They shall not sell miracles, nor set a price for the love they have for one another. They are to be servants, not Lords. The time will yet come when you will understand the greatness of true humility, and then you will realize that whoever knew how to be a servant was, in reality, free in his mission to do good and spread mercy, and that faith, confidence, and peace accompanied him throughout his life.

Vol. 10 – I. 299 : 23. Man needs peace in his soul, tranquility in his heart. But this treasure is not gained through violence, nor can it be bought at any price. It is a grace attained through perseverance in doing good.

Vol. 12 – I. 362 : 14.-15. Where is the deception? Where has my work been turned into a business, where has my word—given at all times—been misinterpreted? I have always asked you for my temple within your soul. But your confusion has been great when, instead, you have erected churches of granite and adorned them lavishly with stone ornaments and images created by human hands.

15. Humanity: I have found you to have become idolaters, seeking My Spirit in limited figures. Do you not remember that I led you to the banks of the rivers in the Second Era to give you My Instruction? Did I perhaps teach you idolatry at that time? No. Now, in this age, I seek the temple within your hearts—the temple that will not be destroyed by the elements, for My work, which you will make known, will be as clear and pure as My Instruction. In this way, fanaticism and idolatry will be destroyed.

Vol. 12 – I. 364 : 40. Be prepared, My people, and do not let yourselves be deceived by the wicked church leaders—do not allow them to present their own law to you. For I see that they are concealing My Instruction and making known only their own, and have set out to turn My work into a business, presenting it full of secrets and materialistic interpretations. It is My will that you make My work known with purity and spiritualization. For this work has come forth from My Spirit and contains the essence of My Word for the renewal of humanity.
