XII Judgment and Purification of Mankind

The Harvest of the Fruits of Human Sowing

1. Beloved disciples, these are times of judgment for humanity. The deadline has passed for you to begin paying your debts. You are now reaping the harvest of past sowings, the result or the consequences of your deeds.

2. Man has a time to do his work and another to account for what he has done; the latter is the time in which you live. That is why you all suffer and weep. Just as you have a time for sowing and another for reaping, so too does God have one that He granted you to fulfill His law, and another to manifest His justice.

3. You are now living in the time of divine judgment. Pain makes you weep; humanity is purifying itself in its own tears, for no one is spared from atonement.

4. These are times of judgment in which you should reflect on your destiny, so that through contemplation and spiritualization you may hear the voice of conscience, which neither misleads nor deceives, but leads you onto the path of peace. (11, 58-61)

5. This is the time of judgment for humanity. Person by person, people by people, and nation by nation are judged by My Divinity. Nevertheless, people have not noticed this, nor do they know in what time they are living. Therefore, I have come in the Spirit and have sent down My ray upon the human mind, and through its mediation I have revealed to you who is speaking to you, what time it is in which you live, and what your task is. (51, 61)

6. Truly, I tell you: You are already living in the "Day of the Lord"; you are already under His judgment. The living and the dead are currently being judged; past and present deeds are being weighed on this scale of judgment. Open your eyes so that you may witness that Divine Justice is making itself felt everywhere. (76, 44)

7. Since ancient times I have spoken to you of a judgment, and now is the foretold time, which the prophets depicted as if it were a single day.

8. The word of your God is the word of a King and will not be revoked. What does it matter that thousands of years have passed since then? The Father's will is unchangeable and must be fulfilled.

9. If people knew how to watch and pray, in addition to believing in My Word, they would never be taken by surprise. But they are unfaithful, forgetful, and unbelieving, and when trials come, they attribute them to God's punishment, vengeance, or wrath. I tell you this: every trial is announced in advance so that you may be prepared. Therefore, you must always be watchful.

10. The Flood, the destruction of cities by fire, the enemy invasions, the plagues, the epidemics, the famines, and other afflictions were foretold to all the peoples of the earth so that you might prepare yourselves and not be taken by surprise. Just as today, a message of vigilance and preparation has always come down from the love of God so that people may awaken, prepare themselves, and become strong. (24, 74-77)

11. I tell you: Although it is true that very great trials lie ahead for this world, the days of suffering will be shortened; for the suffering of humanity will be so great that it will cause people to awaken, lift their eyes to Me, and listen to the voice of their conscience, which will demand of them the fulfillment of My Law.

12. My justice will eradicate all evil that exists in this world. First, I will examine everything: religious communities, the sciences, and social institutions; and then the sickle of Divine Justice will pass over them, cutting away the weeds and leaving the wheat. Every good seed that I find in the hearts of men, I will preserve so that it may continue to sprout in the souls of men. (119, 10-11)

Purification of Humanity in Judgment

13. How much longer must humanity develop before they comprehend My love and feel My presence through their conscience? When people hear My voice advising them and fulfill My law, it will be a sign that the era of materialism is over for them.

14. For the time being, they must still be afflicted by the forces of nature in many forms until they are convinced that there are higher powers before which human materialism is very small.

15. The earth will tremble, water will cleanse humanity, and fire will purify them.

16. All the elements and forces of nature will make their presence felt on Earth, where human beings have failed to live in harmony with the life that surrounds them.

17. In this, nature does not seek the destruction of those who desecrate it; it seeks only harmony between humanity and all creatures.

18. If its judgment is becoming increasingly evident, it is because human transgressions and their lack of conformity with the laws have likewise grown greater. (40, 20-25)

19. The hand of man has brought judgment upon himself. A storm rages in his mind, a tempest rages in his heart, and all this is also revealed in nature. Its elements are unleashed, the seasons are turning hostile, plagues are arising and multiplying—and this is because your sins are growing and causing disease, and because foolish and presumptuous science does not acknowledge the order established by the Creator.

20. If I were to tell you this, you would not believe it. Therefore, it is necessary that you be able to grasp the result of your deeds with your own hands, so that you may be disillusioned by them. Right now you have reached this moment in your lives in which you are experiencing the result of all that you have sown. (100, 6-7)

21. Life on earth has always been accompanied by trials and atonement for humankind; yet never has this path of development been so full of pain as it is now, never has the cup been so full of bitterness.

22. In this age, people do not wait until adulthood to face the struggle of life. How many creatures already know, from childhood onward, disappointment, the yoke, blows, obstacles, and failures. I can tell you even more: In these times, human suffering begins even before one is born—that is, already in the womb of one's mother.

23. Great is the duty of atonement for the beings who come to Earth in this time! Yet you must remember that all the suffering that exists in the world is the work of man. Is there any greater perfection in My justice than to allow those who have strewn the path of life with thorns to now reap them? (115, 35-37)

24. You cannot comprehend My universal plan of salvation; yet I reveal a part of it to you so that you may share in My work.

25. I alone know the significance of the time in which the world lives. No human being is capable of grasping the reality of this hour.

26. From their earliest days, people have ceaselessly defiled themselves until they had darkened their feelings and their souls, creating for themselves a sick, restless, and sorrowful life. But now the hour of purification has struck. (274, 11-12)

27. The time of harvest has come for all souls, and that is why you see confusion among people. But truly, I tell you, in this chaos, each will reap his own seed.

28. But what will become of those of My children who have continually transgressed My law? Truly: All who sleep and refuse to study and heed My teachings will be swept away by trials like a whirlwind that brings them down. But for all who have followed My instructions, it will be like an encouragement for their fulfillment of duty, like a beautiful reward that God bestows upon them. (310, 7)

29. In this time, those who are not ready to renew themselves will have to experience the greatest bitterness and will be taken from the earth, thereby losing the precious opportunity to atone for their transgressions and to reconcile themselves with the Law, the Truth, and Life.

30. Those, on the other hand, who pass from this material life into the Spiritual Homeland with the peace and satisfaction that comes from a duty fulfilled, will feel enlightened by My Light; yet if they are among those who must reincarnate again, I will prepare them before they return to human life, so that they may rise to it purified, more spiritual, and with greater wisdom. (91, 38-39)

The Love of God in Judgment

31. Pain has poured out its entire contents upon the world and makes itself felt in a thousand different forms.

32. In what terrible haste you live, humanity! How laboriously you knead the dough for your daily bread! Therefore, men wear themselves out before their time, women age prematurely, young women wither in full bloom, and children become emotionally numb at a tender age.

33. This is an era of pain, bitterness, and trials in which you now live. Nevertheless, I desire that you find peace, that you attain harmony, that you dispel the pain. For this, I appear in the Spirit and send you My Word, which is a dew of comfort, healing, and peace upon your soul.

34. Hear My Word, which is the Resurrection and the Life. In it you will regain faith, health, and joy to fight and to live. (132, 42–45)

35. Today is a time of great reparation for the soul. My judgment has begun, and the deeds of each person have been placed on a scale. Though this judgment is difficult and painful for the souls, the Father is near to them, for He is more a loving Father than a judge. The love of Mary, your intercessor, also surrounds you. (153, 16)

36. My justice has come, humanity; it will humble man's pride to make him realize how small he is in his wickedness and materialism.

37. Yes, people, I will bring man down from his false greatness, for I want him to see My light and rise up, so that he may become great in truth. For I want you to be full of light, magnanimity, goodness, strength, and wisdom. (285, 15-16)

38. Humanity does not recognize Me and denies My presence in this time. Yet I will make them realize that I manifest My justice with love and mercy, that I do not come with the scourge to cause them pain— —that I only wish to lift them up to a life of grace and purify them with the crystal-clear water that is My Word, My Truth. 39. The world has not learned My teaching and has nourished its idolatry and fanaticism. Therefore, it is now undergoing the great crucible and drinking the cup of suffering; for its materialism has estranged it from Me. (334, 29-30)

40. Now humanity, divided into peoples, races, languages, and skin colors, receives from My Divine Spirit its respective share of judgment: the trials that befall each one, the struggle, the crucible, and the atonement that I have ordained for every human being and every race.

41. But you know that My judgment is founded on love, that the trials the Father sends to humanity are trials of love—that everything is directed toward salvation and the good, even if these afflictions seem to bring misfortune, calamity, or misery.

42. Behind all of this lies life, the preservation of the soul, and its salvation. The Father is always waiting for the "Prodigal Son" to embrace him with the greatest love. (328, 11)
