XVI Prophecies and Parables, Comfort and Promise

The Fulfillment of Old and New Prophecies

1. What the prophets proclaimed will be fulfilled in this age. My new word will reach philosophers and theologians; many will mock it, and others will be outraged. Yet as this happens, their astonished eyes will behold the fulfillment of the prophecies I have now announced to you. (151, 75)

2. Those prophets of bygone times received no legal authority or empowerment on earth; they were not compelled to submit to any authority, and they focused solely on obeying the commands of their Lord, who placed His Word upon the lips of those He had chosen.

3. Full of faith and courage, nothing deterred them from their task of teaching the people My Law and dissuading them from religious fanaticism by making them aware of the indifference and errors of the priests. (162, 7-8)

4. Humanity, do the pain, misery, and chaos that surround you at this time seem unforeseeable to you?

5. If you are surprised, it is because you have not taken an interest in My prophecies and have not prepared yourselves.

6. Everything was foreseen, and everything was foretold, but you lacked faith, and now, as a result, you are drinking from a very bitter cup.

7. Even today I prophesy through the human mind. Some prophecies will soon be fulfilled, others only in times far in the future.

8. This people who hears them bears the great responsibility of making them known to humanity. For they contain light that makes the reality in which people live comprehensible to them, so that they may pause in their frantic rush toward the abyss. (276, 41–42)

9. Much of what I have spoken to you in this time is prophecy, referring sometimes to the near future and sometimes to times yet to come. That is why many people do not wish to attach any significance to this divine message.

10. However, this Word will rise up full of light among the people of the coming times, who will recognize and discover in it great revelations whose accuracy and perfection will astonish scientists. (216, 13)

Great Prophecy to the Nations of January 10, 1945, toward the end of World War II

11. At this moment I speak to the nations of the earth. All have My light; with it they shall reflect on the fact that they have dared to dispose of life as if they were its owners.

12. Truly, I tell you, your destruction and your pain have evoked deep repentance in many and have awakened millions of people to the light, who seek Me and call upon Me, and from them a cry of lamentation rises up to Me, asking: "Father, will the war of 1945 not come to an end, and will You not dry our tears and bring us peace?"

13. Here I am present among you, O you seven nations! 808 Chapter 64 Seven heads that have exalted yourselves before Me in the world!

14. ENGLAND: I enlighten you; My justice will yet visit you severely; yet I give you strength, touch your heart, and say to you: Your claims to power will fall, your riches will be taken from you, and they will be given to no one.

15. GERMANY: At this very moment I am punishing your pride and say to you: Prepare yourself, for your seed shall not perish. You have asked Me for new lands, yet men have interfered with My high decrees. I bow your neck and say to you: Take My strength and trust that I will save you.

16. But if you do not trust in Me and should give in to your pride, you will be alone and a slave to the world. Yet this is not My will, for now is the time when I overthrow the masters and free the slaves and captives. Take My light and rise up again.

17. RUSSIA: My Spirit sees all. The world will not be yours. It will be I who reign over you all. You will not be able to erase My name, for Christ, who speaks to you, will reign over all people. Free yourself from materialism and prepare for a new life, for if this does not happen, I will break your pride. I give you My light.

18. ITALY: You are no longer the master as in times past; today, mockery, servitude, and war have brought you to ruin. As a result of your degeneration, you are undergoing a great purification. Yet I say to you: Renew yourself, cast aside your fanaticism and idolatry, and recognize Me as the Supreme Lord. I will pour out new inspiration and light upon you. Take My healing balm, and forgive one another.

19. FRANCE: You bring your pain before Me. Your lamentation reaches My high throne. I receive you. In the past, you exalted yourself as lord; now you show Me only the chains you drag along with you.

20. You have neither watched nor prayed. You have given yourself over to the pleasures of the flesh, and the dragon has taken you as its prey.

21. Yet I will save you, for the lamentations of your women and the weeping of the children rise up to Me. You wish to save yourself, and I extend My hand to you. But truly, I say to you: Watch, pray, and forgive!

22. UNITED STATES: At this very moment, I receive you as well. I look upon your heart—it is not made of stone, but of metal, of gold. I see your metal brain hardened. I find no love in you, discover no spirituality. I see only megalomania, ambition, and greed.

23. "Just keep going," yet I ask you: When will My seed take deep root within you? When will you tear down your "Golden Calf" and your "Tower of Babel" to erect the true temple of the Lord instead?

24. I touch your consciences, from the first to the last, and forgive you. I enlighten you so that in the hour of greatest trial, when the affliction reaches its peak, your minds will not be clouded, but will think clearly and remember that I stand above you.

25. I give you light, strength, and authority. Do not interfere with My high counsel, for if you should disobey My instructions or cross the line I draw, pain, destruction, fire, pestilence, and death will come upon you.

26. JAPAN: I receive you and speak to you. I have entered your sanctuary and have observed everything. You do not wish to be last; you have always wanted to be first. Yet truly, I tell you: This seed is not pleasing to Me.

27. It is necessary for you to empty the cup of suffering so that your heart may be purified. It is necessary for your "language"* to mingle with other "languages." It is necessary for the world to draw near to you. When the world is prepared and purified, it will bring you the seed that I will entrust to it. For I see no one prepared. I do not see in you the spiritual seed of My Divinity. Yet I will pave the way. * This refers, in essence, to the way of thinking and the world of ideas influenced and shaped by language.

28. Soon there will be a chaos of worldviews throughout the world, a confusion of sciences and theories. But after this chaos, the light will come to you. I am preparing you all, forgiving you, and ensuring that you walk the right path.

29. When the time comes and peace comes to the nations, do not be rebellious; do not interfere with My high counsel, nor oppose My will. When the nations have made peace, you must not stab them in the back, for then I will bring My judgment upon you.

30. Seven nations! Seven heads! The Father has received you. Before you, under your rule, stands the world. You are responsible to Me for them!

31. May the light of the "Book of the Seven Seals" be in each of the nations, so that people may prepare themselves as is My will. My peace be with you! (127, 50-65)

Wars and Natural Disasters — Signs in the Sky

32. The very world you currently inhabit has long been a battlefield. Yet the immense experience bequeathed to humanity by its ancestors has not been enough—a bitter and painful experience that lies before the people of this age like a book opened by conscience.

33. But the hearts of men are too hard to accept that fruit of experience, which is like a legacy of light. The only things they have inherited from their ancestors are the hatred, pride, resentment, greed, arrogance, and vengeance that have been passed down to them through their blood. (271, 65)

34. Consider that the time of judgment has come; for truly, I tell you, every transgression will be atoned for. The earth itself will demand an accounting for the misuse that man has made of it and its natural realms.

35. All that has been destroyed will call you to account and thereby make people realize that they were created by the Creator with loving intentions, and that it is precisely that one Will—which could destroy them—that cares for them, protects them, and blesses them. (180, 67)

36. I entrust this message to you, which you must pass on across the seas. My Word shall traverse the Old Continent and reach even the people of Israel, who have plunged into a fratricidal struggle over a small piece of land without becoming aware of the misery of their souls.

37. You cannot imagine the trial the world will undergo. All await peace, yet it will only come to pass after the forces of nature have borne witness to Me. (243, 52)

38. My forces of nature will be unleashed and will devastate entire regions. Scientists will discover a new planet, and a "rain of stars"* will illuminate your world. But this will not bring disaster upon humanity; it will merely herald the coming of a new era. (182, 38)

* In the Gospels, this sign of judgment is announced with the words: "The 'stars' will fall from the sky." However, this apparently refers to a massive meteor shower descending upon the Earth.

39. I have already revealed to you that My people are scattered across the entire earth, that is, that the spiritual seed is sown throughout the globe.

40. Today you are divided and even disregard one another over trifles. Yet when materialistic teachings threaten to overwhelm you all, you who think and feel with the Spirit will finally become one. When that time comes, I will give you a sign so that you may recognize one another—something you can all see and hear in the same way. When you then bear witness to one another, you will be amazed and say, "It is the Lord who has visited us." (156, 35–36)

Prophecy Regarding the Division of Mexican Congregations

41. Listen to Me well now, people, and set out to follow My Word worthily and faithfully.

42. I see that you carry sadness in your hearts because you foresee that not all these multitudes of people will abide by the law that I have written in your souls. Yet I tell you that today, just as in the "First Era," the people will be divided.

43. I have spoken much to you and have marked out a single path for all. Therefore, I tell you: If some of My children disobey Me, judgment will be passed upon this people when the day set by your Father's will arrives to bring this revelation to an end.

44. I have come to you in this time as a liberator, have shown you the way through the desert—the spiritual "daily toil" of the struggle for liberation and salvation—and have promised you, in the end, the new Land of Promise, which is peace, light, and bliss for the spirit.

45. Blessed are those who set out and follow Me on this journey in their longing for liberation and spiritualization, for they will never feel forsaken or weak in the trials that the vast desert brings them.

46. Woe, however, to those who transgress against the faith, who love the things of the world more than the spiritual—to those who continue to cling to their idols and their traditions! Believing they are serving Me, they will be subjects of "Pharaoh," who is the "flesh," materialism, and idolatry.

47. Whoever wishes to come to the Promised Land, to the Fatherland of the Spirit, must leave a trail of goodness in their journey through the world.

48. Come along this path and do not be afraid. For if you place your hope in Me, it is impossible for you to go astray. If you are afraid or lack trust, then your faith is not absolute, and I tell you that whoever wishes to follow Me must be convinced of My truth. (269, 50-51)
